Verizon was seeking a recruiting solution that would allow them to engage the entire military community, in real time, and in a cost effective, efficient, and sensible manner. What role do you play in adding talent to Verizon?
I lead the strategic development and implementation of Verizon’s National Military Outreach and Recruitment programs. Integrating innovative technologies and creative concepts that promote career opportunities to the right audiences in a cost-effective manner. Leveraging key partnerships, higher cause employment branding and supporting programs that are aligned with the hiring of US Veterans, Transitioning Military, Military Spouses, Wounded Warriors and the Disabled.

Prior to working with Veteran Recruiting how did your company recruit veterans?
We used more traditional methods such as job boards, advertorials, and hiring events.

What made you decide to work with Veteran Recruiting?
We were looking to explore ways to become more high-touch, continually engaged, and save money. VR offered what we were looking for all at once.

How would you describe the customer service with Veteran Recruiting?
Honestly speaking… it has been excellent! I get what I need when I need it. Period. I especially like the tutorials offered every time we have new recruiters who seeking to recruit new candidates in our virtual booth

How many veterans have you hired since working with Veteran Recruiting?
We have hired over 2,000 veterans and military spouses, and look forward to hiring thousands more!

What would you say to other companies who are considering Veteran Recruiting for their military recruiting programs
